GOING TO THE OTHER SIDE

In 2016, a team of agency veterans and me, journeyed to the brand side to launch an in-house creative studio at The Nature’s Bounty Co., a global $3 billion wellness company with a portfolio of leading vitamins, supplements and sports & active nutrition brands. This was a great opportunity to shape and rebuild brands from the inside out. To own the creative process from the get go. Nothing but upsides.

For the last two years, I’ve co-led a team of 15 creatives, working for 16 different brands and product innovation campaigns, being responsible for strategy, creative integration, social media content, and digital, shopper and e-commerce initiatives.

Some of our external partners included Droga5 (TV and brand strategy), Hatch San Francisco (package design), Ketchum and MWW (PR), Activent (experiential programs), Polyester and Radio (animation), and directors Rick Knief and Dean Alexander.

Here’re a couple of things I’ve learned on wellness during my time at The Nature’s Bounty Co.

Forget ascorbic acid! This one is the best form of vitamin C for you. More on Ester-C here.

You can delight both your taste buds and your gut, as you savor this deliciously dark, Belgian chocolate probiotic by Nature’s Bounty. More on this brand here.

There’s a beautiful lawn bowling green in New York’s Central Park –I’d never heard of the sport up until we cast Alan for this Osteo Bi-Flex video series. More on this brand here.

Elite athletes feed on creatine powder and competing for their next trophy. More on MET-Rx here.
