I'm Marta. Like Martha, but without the h.
I have lived and worked in Europe, the United States, Latin America, and now call Australia home. I'm a permanent resident, married to an Aussie, and live in Surry Hills in Sydney.
I love business and creative challenges and enjoy stretching myself to solve them. I had my own small businesses in fashion and floral design, while I was in uni. I built a virtual ad agency with colleagues in the early 2000s. I collaborated with an animation studio writing videos for Sesame Street and apps for children at the onset of the start-up craze, while working in adland.
Trained as a sociologist, I have a keen eye for strategic insights and human behaviour.
My motto is that strategy and creative should have the same high level of ambition.
As a writer, I wear many pens (from video scripts to games and ebooks). And I've been told I have a pretty good eye for composition by an ikebana master. In fact, I can tell the difference between a fritillaria and a helleborus, and I can put together some dapper flower arrangements.
At this point, I want to work with nice people who are talented, value creativity and collaboration, but still have a life outside the office.
